Clean, spacious, and fast service paired with good food is 5 stars for me. Went on a Thursday afternoon for a quick bite in route and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They specialize in Korean hangover soup and it definitely makes you feel better afterwards! I recommend you give it a shot if you're nearby.

Soup was very tasty and side dishes were good. Meat was a little bit tough but still pretty tender. Service was great! Some items on menu were missing.

A spacious, clean, and bright Korean spot specializing in soups and stews. We came by with our close friends and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes! The pork gukbop had great flavor and copious amounts of fatty pork belly while my mixed sullungtang was even more derricious and notable for its milky broth. The only thing that could've been better was their pork tonkatsu - the overly thick layer of breading and overcooked meat wasn't the greatest combination. Even so, a super tasty meal and probably the best sullungtang we've tried so far. 4.5 upbumped!

Myung Ga Haejangguk is a fantastic spot for traditional Korean cuisine and a welcome new addition this year! I tried the sullungtang and yukgaejang, and both dishes were served piping hot, with rich, delicious flavors. The yukgaejang had just the right amount of spice, making it enjoyable and not overwhelming. Paired with their fresh and flavorful banchan, the meal was even better. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Wow! The store was spacious and clean, so my first impression was good. I tried the hangover soup that was recommended to me, and it tasted similar to what I used to eat in Korea. In Korea, people eat a lot of hangover soup or soup with rice to ease their stomachs the day after drinking. It was delicious. The haejangguk had a broth base with just the right amount of cabbage and meat, so it was spicy and not too spicy. This is a restaurant where you can eat the Seonjihaejangguk and Sundae that you saw in Korean dramas. Go and try it once!! I always want to visit again. I got the feeling that the store was clean, and as expected, the food was also prepared cleanly and well.

Went on a Sunday evening around 6 pm- not crowded at all. Very spacious and good for groups. Service was quick- looked at the menu for a minute or so and then ordered- sulleongtang for me and the sulleongtang mixed meats for hubby. While we were waiting for our food, they brought out some iced tea (barley?) and banchan- fish cake, cabbage kimchi and spicy radish. The kimchi was SOOOO good and I couldn't stop eating it- it was fresh and not aged too much. The radish was really good too- slightly sweet and sour. The fishcake was nice too because I love fishcake! It took awhile for the sulleongtang to come out (15 minutes or so?), but it came out piping hot. It was very flavorful and even better with a little salt and kimchi in it, but I had stuffed myself so much with kimchi and rice that I couldn't eat much! Took it home and reheated the next day and it was even better! It's slightly more pricey than some other places around, but definitely will come back for more.

I ordered Galbi tang ( beef ribs) soup and my friend ordered bulgogi soup. We both end up eating my soup because we're not really on sweet or salty soup... The meat and the soup base are perfectly seasoned. All their side dishes were complimented on the soup and love their rice too. The service was fast and Ms kim our server was very friendly and helpful. She cut our meat and our noodles. There was another lady too but I don't know her name. Anyways both of them are really friendly and nice to us. The ambiance was okay there's nothing fancy but it's cute and clean.

No frills, just some great traditional Korean soups. My coworker discovered this place when we went to lunch and when we walked in at 11:30a it was rather empty--by noon the place was packed! They definitely cater most to their Korean customers most but the workers are always friendly and helpful. More often than not I'll usually order either the sulluntang, doganitang, or the galbitang; none have let me down so far. The ladies have suggested the blood sausage soondae dishes but I've yet to be brave enough to try! Food and banchan is yummy and overall it's a great place to enjoy good food.

One of my favorite spots for Galbi-tang! I've been to the locations in Arcadia and La Canada and they have been consistently good, so I'm glad to have found another one of their locations in Gardena! This small restaurant serves authentic, comforting Korean soups and dishes that hit the spot whenever I'm craving a comforting meal. They don't give much banchan but their kimchi cabbage is delicious. Their galbitang is a pretty large portion that comes with several tender beef short ribs with glass noodles in a comforting broth. The servers are attentive and the restaurant itself is pretty spacious and good for large groups. I would definitely recommend checking out and supporting this hidden spot!
